The Sunset Dawn® is a global arts and media festival connecting cities and citizens of the world as people share the magic of gazing upon the sunset and the dawn from opposite ends of the Earth.
Conceived by Tim Kingham, and launched with his song Sunset Dawn at the Liverpool/Asia Pacific festival in June 2011, the event is now being organized and promoted across the world by timotheus creative media ltd.
With the potential to connect cities from Rio to Shanghai, from Cairo to LA, from Cape Town to Honolulu – and thousands like them – the Sunset Dawn® is thus much more than just a fantastic song: by connecting cities at this magical hour via media and web links to share in a live global festival, it fosters our sense of being citizens of one world at the dawn of a global age. So simple, and yet so profound, the Sunset Dawn has all the power of an idea whose time has come, and world cities with global vision are now ready to make it happen . . .
